An American tech giant Microsoft and Dell technologies jointly announced that both are collaborating to help their customers to simplify as well as deliver Internet of Things solution. Company’s latest move will combine VMware Pulse IoT Centre, Azure apps and services and Dell Edge Gateways which will offer their customers centralized monitoring along with streamlined management, security from devices to the cloud.
Several organizations are taking initiative to implement IoT and integrate a multitude of hardware, software and cloud services across the fragmented IoT landscape. Moreover, those organizations want to harness advanced services including real-time decision making and artificial intelligence.
Both announced at the Dell Technologies World 2018 that the upcoming IoT solution will be available for purchase in the second half of 2018.
Head of OEM and IOT GTM at Dell EMC, Chris Wolff said, “When we unveiled the Dell Technologies IoT division last fall, we committed to leaning on the Dell Technologies family of businesses to engineer the right solutions to meet customer needs in conjunction with our partner ecosystem.” Further, Chris added, “This collaboration will enable customers to implement IoT more seamlessly, for better and faster ROI.”
Vice president IoT Solutions at Microsoft, Ruston Panabaker concluded, “Microsoft and Dell technologies are making it easier for customers to empower their employees, optimize operations and reimagine their products, services or even business models.”
Yet, both tech giant does not reveal agreement details on solution’s price, availability, however, they assured that soon they will come with the solution.
